Cypress Bank officially began operation October 3, 1977. Beginning with capital of $500,000 and three full time employees. We now post assets of $200,000,000 and capital of $21,500,000 and employ 75 employees at our five locations. Our growth is reflective of the growth and prosperity of the Northeast Texas region. During my tenure, I have witnessed the strong growth of our Northeast Texas area and recognize that Cypress has played an integral part in that growth. Cypress is a true community bank, investing in our communities. As a show of our commitment, Cypress Bank has built a new branch facility on South Jefferson Avenue, to complement our existing office in Mt. Pleasant. This reflects our commitment to invest in our communities and provide the highest level of customer service possible, to our customers.
